Collapsible content

Do I need experience?

The recommended prior experience level is indicated in the description of each class. Many of our classes are beginner-friendly and perfect for all skill levels. We’ll guide you step-by-step through each technique so you can relax, learn, and get creative!

Do I need to bring anything?

Nope! All tools and materials are provided — just bring yourself and your creativity.

Can I sit with my friend?

Absolutely! Arrive a few minutes early if you’d like to grab spots together.

Can I share my spot in class with someone else?

We love when people come to class with a friend or loved one — it makes the experience even more fun! However, each participant needs their own purchased spot, as everyone will have their own cake, tools, and setup.

What should I wear?

We recommend wearing something comfortable that you don’t mind getting a little buttercream on. Aprons are provided, but it’s best to avoid loose sleeves or delicate fabrics.

Is the space accessible?

Yes! Our classroom studio is fully accessible, with a beautiful accessible washroom. We’ve also designed our setup and instruction to accommodate every baker comfortably. We ask that all students refrain from wearing fragrances to keep the space welcoming for everyone. If you have any additional considerations or accessibility needs, please let us know — we’re always happy to help!

Where do I park?

We are located at the wonderful Richmond Yards. There is an underground parking garage (paid) or you may wish to arrive a few minutes early to find a spot nearby. Parking is not included in course registration. Please be mindful of street-parking signs.

Do you have wifi?

We do have wifi! You can find the wifi password in a photo frame in our cake studio, or feel free to ask us and we will share it with you.

Can I bring my child?

Our classes and events are designed for individual participation, and we don’t have the capacity to support babies, toddlers, or younger children for classes in our cake studio (even though they’re super cute!). If the class listing indicates that it’s suitable for younger bakers (ages 13–18), they’re absolutely welcome to join with a trusted adult — just be sure to purchase a spot for each participant.

Can I book a private class for my child’s birthday party or family group?

We do not offer children’s birthday parties or private classes for younger groups. If you’re looking for something fun to do at home with your little baker, our cookie mixes make a great alternative, perfect for a cozy baking day together or baking with a group of friends!

Can I bring my pet?

For everyone’s comfort and food safety, only certified service animals are permitted in the space. Dogs and other pets are not permitted in the cake studio.
