Located in the heart of Richmond Yards, the Sugar Nursery Cake Studio is where we host our decorating classes, meet with couples for fine art wedding cake consultations, and open our doors for Open Cake Studio Hours so you can shop our signature treats.
This space was designed to feel warm, welcoming, and inspiring, a place where creativity flows, buttercream dreams come to life, and sweet memories are made.

A Space for Learning and Creating
Our studio is home to our cake and cookie decorating classes where we share our passion and expertise with sweet art enthusiasts. From beginner workshops to more advanced skill-building sessions, our classes are thoughtfully designed to help you build confidence, learn professional techniques, and leave with something beautiful (and delicious).
All tools and materials are provided, and every class is led by Amanda and Maddy, the mother-daughter duo behind Sugar Nursery.
Wedding Cake Consultations
The Sugar Nursery Cake Studio is also where we meet with couples to design their dream wedding cakes. During our private consultations, we walk through design inspiration, flavour selections, and all the little details that make your cake uniquely yours.
Open Cake Studio Hours - Retail
On select dates throughout the year, we host Open Cake Studio Hours, giving you the chance to stop by and shop a curated selection of Sugar Nursery favourites and pick up our much loved cookie mixes.
Sweet goodies available include an array of royal iced cookies, macarons, and our signature fairy cakes. We love to welcome you into our whimsical happy place where edible art comes to life.
