Cancellations and Attendance: All sales are final. We’re unable to offer refunds, transfers, or credits for missed or cancelled classes. If you are unable to  attend, you may send a friend in your place — please email us in advance with their name, email, and contact info so we can update our class list and welcome them properly.

Class Size and Rescheduling: Each class runs with a minimum of 12 students and a maximum of 16. If a class doesn’t meet the minimum, or if unforeseen circumstances (such as weather, illness, or emergencies) arise, The Sugar Nursery™ reserves the right to reschedule or combine sessions. You’ll be notified and rebooked to a future date as soon as possible.

Ages: Classes are open to ages 14+, or 8–13 with an accompanying adult.

Allergies and Food Safety: Our studio is not allergen-free. Our kitchen is not nut free and regularly bakes with dairy, eggs and gluten-based products. We may offer gluten-free friendly options but cannot guarantee a fully gluten-free environment. We are not 100% able to avoid cross-contamination and always want to ensure the safety of our customers. We can make recommendations to other cake designers who may have capacity for gluten-free or dairy-free sweets.

Photos and Media: You’re welcome to take photos of your own work, but please don’t record others or instructors. Please ask for permission from those around you if you wish to take photos or videos. Note, by attending, you give us permission to share photos of the event for marketing or social media.

Kindness and Conduct: We are committed to creating an inclusive environment for each of our students. Please arrive on time, bring kindness, and enjoy the creative process! We reserve the right to ask any guest to leave for disruptive or unkind behaviour (no refund).

Damages: Please treat our cake studio with kindness. If there are damages to any of the furniture, appliances, floor, walls, or equipment, you will be liable and must reimburse The Sugar Nursery™. Broken furniture fee is dependent on the item, and if the item is damaged beyond repair, you will be charged the cost of that piece

Refreshments: Complimentary non-alcoholic drinks are provided during your class. This may include water, tea or coffee, and/or other sparkling beverages.
